We are trying to make the Town's website more accessible for all users. A Word document tiltled "Accessibility Overview" is available with suggestions on modifications you can make in your operating system and browser to help access the Town's website.

UPDATE:  NOVEMBER 14, 2013

Accessibility Standard for Information and Communications Update

The Town of Goderich is committed to offering people of all ages with a disability in our community the opportunity to pursue healthy, balanced lifestyles.  Town staff are working hard to ensure we meet or exceed the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities standards established by the Ontario government. Accessibility standards are the rules that businesses and organizations in Ontario will have to follow to identify, remove and prevent barriers to accessibility.

The Accessible Customer Service Standard is the first of the accessibility standards to become law in Ontario. The Town of Goderich's accessibility standards for customer service has been approved to ensure that our goods and services are accessible to everyone.  Town of Goderich staff is currently working on enhancing the Town's website to ensure its services are provided in an accessible manner.  Should you have difficulty in accessing a particular document from the Town's website, please contact Janice Hallahan, Accessibility Coordinator at 519.524.8344 Ext. 223, to obtain the information in a format that is accessible.  Thank you for your patience.
