The Town of Goderich is proud to announce that we are the first Canadian community to have signed the Lake Huron Forever Pledge. This pledge signifies our commitment to take action to protect Lake Huron’s water quality, preserve surrounding natural resources, and engage community members in local conservation efforts now and forever. Town of Goderich Website Survey

The website for the Town of Goderich, www.goderich.ca, serves as the primary communication tool for the municipality.

Through the Town of Goderich Corporate Strategic Plan, Council identified the website as a priority item to make the website more user friendly by streamlining navigation and improving/simplifying content. Staff are conducting a comprehensive review of the website to develop a new and improved site and we are looking for your feedback!

Town of Goderich 2027 Bicentennial Committee

The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Goderich will be seeking six (6) citizen members for the Town of Goderich 2027 Bicentennial Committee. The mandate of the Committee is to:

Plan, coordinate, and implement the 2027 Bicentennial event(s) and provide a safe and enjoyable celebration that will appeal to all ages, focusing on the participation of residents and former residents of the Town of Goderich.
Develop a Funding and Implementation Plan/Strategy that establishes a plan for all fundraising activities and for implementation of the 2027 event(s). The Fundraising and Implementation Plan/Strategy shall be presented to Council.
Prepare a report to Council outlining the Committee’s preferred distribution of funds raised by the event(s). Council shall have final approval over the distribution of funds raised by the event.
Provide a final report to Council following the event(s).
